Paper Craft

Fields of Gold

Eeek!! OK didn’t leave myself enough time to finish this one – I’ve got another card in the pipeline that I would love to enter in the ‘Name That Tune’ monthly competition, but I won’t finish it in time!

I have created an Easel card using the ‘In the Country‘ stamp from Lili of the Valley. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the image on to some white super smooth card. I cut the image out using the largest Spellbinders Labels 25 die.

I used Promarkers to colour in the image. I also die cut two clouds using the Joy Crafts ‘Clouds’ and Memory Box ‘Puffy Clouds’ dies and glued them to the image.

Next I stamped the kraft base card with the grass from Indigo Blu ‘Nature I‘ stamp set using Distress inks in ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ and ‘Old Paper’. Whilst the inks were still wet I dusted over some Perfect Pearls ‘Perfect Bronze’. Don’t you just love how the Perfect Pearls look on that wheat?

I threaded the wooden button with some twine and then attached tem to the card using Glossy Accents, once this was dry it was a good prop to hold the card in place, but it also gave a little rustic feel to the card.

I would like to enter this card in the Lili of the Valley Monthly Competition ‘Name That Tune’ my tune is ‘Fields of Gold’ By Sting. I hope you like it!
