Check out my YouTube video below for a tutorial on how I constructed the treat boxes. https://youtu.be/rdAJLl9p-84 The weather is a bit grey and dreary here in Surrey, UK. Secondly, as this weekend is all about the royal wedding, I thought I would share some handmade wedding stationary and decorations if you are a do-it-yourself kind of person. Something Old Let's be honest, the vast majority of us who have to produce something ourselves… Continue reading Wedding stationary and decorations
Black and gold appreciation card
All of my PhD supervisors are very hard working, dedicated people, and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful team of supervisors/advisors around me. However, I think one of my supervisors is just amazing - she has two 'part time' jobs (even though they are supposed to be 50%/50% it's more like 70%/70%!!)… Continue reading Black and gold appreciation card
Playing with my stamp platform
Hi Everyone! I hope you're having a lovely weekend? Punny birthday card
I fully appreciate that this card may not be to everybody's taste, so excuse me if you don't like the pun. I have made this card for a lovely, funny woman who did her PhD where I'm studying and has gone on to pastures new, but is still in touch with lots of us at… Continue reading Punny birthday card
Best friend’s birthday card
My best friend is having an afternoon tea for her birthday celebrations this year (so many friends are scattered about and some have small children so an afternoon thing means she can see as many friends as possible and they can all get wee people home in time for bed and no need for baby… Continue reading Best friend’s birthday card
Niece’s 10th Birthday card
OMG!! I just can't believe my middle niece is 10!!! Where does the time go??? I wanted to make a fairy/magical/mythical card for her (because she won't believe in the magic for much longer... [cue 'Age of Not Believing' from Bedknobs and Broomsticks running through my head]) so I got out my Tonic Studios fairy… Continue reading Niece’s 10th Birthday card
Crafty kittens!
Hmmm... The kittens are adorable, but they are annoying too!! I had made a 50th birthday card using loads of die cut letters and managed to keep them out of the paws (and mouths!) of the kittens, stuck the card together and just had to add the nuvo Crystal Drops to leave them to dry… Continue reading Crafty kittens!
