Today is a bit special - I'm participating in my second Team Tiny YouTube hop. The theme for this hop is inspiration. We have been paired with another participant from Team Tiny and we have checked out their YouTube, Instagram and blog to get to know them and to pick a card that we want… Continue reading #TeamTinyInspirationHop

Distress Speckled Egg haul and card
I'm so excited! I ordered the Tim Holtz Distress bundle for the brand new colour 'Speckled Egg' and it's arrived!! I didn't have any Distress Oxides or Distress Oxide sprays before I ordered this bundle, so I decided to order the Peacock Feathers and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide sprays as well so I could have… Continue reading Distress Speckled Egg haul and card
Dream big card using Hero Arts stamps
I blended Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Neenah classic crest. I sprayed the ink blended panel with clean clear water and blotted it with tissue paper, then used Hero Arts Shimmer Mist in pearlescent white to resemble stars. On a separate… Continue reading Dream big card using Hero Arts stamps
Golden anniversary card using emboss resist technique
So, yet another disclaimer - I made these cards and filmed the making of the cards back in September of 2017, but I didn't want to blog about them until I had the corresponding YouTube video created as well. Dear me, this video has taken FOREVER to edit!! When I put all the clips together… Continue reading Golden anniversary card using emboss resist technique
Birthday thank you cards with SSS flora stamp
It was my birthday last week, to be honest it was a bit overshadowed by passing my viva - it still doesn't feel real and I'm wandering about in a bit of a daze! However, with birthdays come lots of lovely gifts and thank you cards (because everyone likes snail mail that isn't a bill,… Continue reading Birthday thank you cards with SSS flora stamp
Concord and 9th Christmas card
Disclaimer: I made this card in December (yes, rather obvious given the theme!) but this is the first chance I've had to blog about it because I was writing my Thesis. I made this card for my best friend because I really do feel guilty not giving her a Christmas card because she is my… Continue reading Concord and 9th Christmas card
Divine Dry embossing with MFT dies
Hello! I'm back with a quick bonus mid week post! I'm still trying to get all of my MFT Camp Create cards out of the way (I started them, so I'll finish them!!!) and I only have 2 left - dry embossing and a slider card. As I've finished the dry embossing tonight, I'll share… Continue reading Divine Dry embossing with MFT dies
SSS watercolour panel update
So I did decide what to do with the lovely SSS embossed watercoloured panel and made it into a 6x6 card with some X cut adhesive glitter sheets and the sentiment from My Favorite Things 'More Essential Sentiments' white heat embossed on a little strip of black card. To add some more texture I added… Continue reading SSS watercolour panel update
Organisation
Hi everyone! I've just watched the latest episode of Line of Duty on BBC1 - it's really gripping! On a completely different note, I wanted to quickly share what I've been up to, craft-wise, this weekend. Having watched several craft room tours and gone green with envy over the Christmas holidays I thought to myself… Continue reading Organisation
Niece’s Birthday card
I thought I would try to share where my inspiration came from in this post, because I haven't shared a sketch or 'inspiration' picture in a while. I had this pin on Pinterest for its positive message and I thought it was gorgeous, then I got to thinking "Come on, you must be able to… Continue reading Niece’s Birthday card
