It was my birthday last week, to be honest it was a bit overshadowed by passing my viva – it still doesn’t feel real and I’m wandering about in a bit of a daze! However, with birthdays come lots of lovely gifts and thank you cards (because everyone likes snail mail that isn’t a bill, right?) and I wanted to make some cards that had a real Spring feel, because I am sooooo ready for Spring!
I LOVE the look of watercolouring an embossed image so I wanted to do that for my thank you cards. I used white embossing powder to emboss the image and heat set it. I then repeated this a few times to create multiple panels.
