With Birthdays comes birthday money to spend on new crafty things! (and lots of thank you cards to write) So with my Birthday money I had a little splurge on the Waltzingmouse Stamps website & bought the ‘Kaboom’ die, ‘Kaboom’, ‘Halftone Basics’, ‘Happy Hello Thanks’, ‘Old Country Roses’ and ‘Vintage Postcards’ stamp sets. I decided to use the ‘Happy Hello Thanks’ and ‘Old Country Roses’ for my thank you cards.
The sentiment is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar, the roses are Crisp Cantaloop, Strawberry Slush and Primrose Petals inks. I die cut the Szzix ‘Sizzlits Little Leaves’ die from Pistachi Pudding card stock.
I stamped several roses onto white card stock and fussy cut them out, then attached them to the card bases with 3mm foam squares, I attached the leaves with 1mm foam pads so the leaves could fit behind the raised rose.
