The second I saw this die set I HAD to have it, I immediately had this card idea in my head! My friend went on safari for her honeymoon and took amazing photos so I wanted to create a ‘safari’ card for her.
For the safari, what better stamp set than Lawn Fawn ‘Critters on the Savannah’? So I stamped the lion with Spectrum Noir FINESSE ‘Rustic Brown’ ink and coloured him using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
I wanted to recreate a sort of ‘vintage’ camera and I googled some and I found an image with a purple lens, which looked really cool so I recreated it with purple mirror card for the ‘sausages’ in the reveal wheel dies.
I die cut the body of the camera and the button from satin silver cardstock. I also die cut another camera from brown card to trim down and create the ‘leather’ section where the stitched section is on the camera body.
