I was inspired by Nina-Marie Trapani’s cards using the two Pantone colours of 2021 (you can see her cards on the Simon Says Stamp Blog here). I won’t lie I don’t like yellow much, so I had been really struggling to work out how I was going to create a card(s) using the colours for 2021, so massive thanks to Nina-Marie for the inspiration!
In preparation for these cards I spent the whole of Tuesday evening die cutting geometric shapes from card stock!! I used Concord and 9th silver glitter card stock, Yupo, Xcut yellow adhesive glitter sheets, Stampin’UP! Daffodil Delight and some Crafter’s Companion Centura Pearl (the yellow is in the pastels 5 colour pack).
I also die cut lots of thank yous from Smokey Slate card stock and stacked them for a chipboard effect.
