Paper Craft

Christmas tags

Well I don’t think I can hide from it any more – it’s almost Christmas…

So this is just a quick post to show you the tags I’ve made for my nieces Christmas presents using IndigoBlu Snowflakes stamp and Distress Ink ‘Festive Berries’.

I used my Tim Holtz ‘Tag & Bookplates’ die (Sizzix movers and shapers) to cut the tag out of extra smooth white card and the re-inforcers from kraft paper. I stamped IndigoBlu ‘Snowflakes’ in watermark ink and sprinkled white embossing powder over the top, tapped off the excess and used my heat gun to set the embossing powder.

When the tags were all embossed and cool I went over the top of the tags with ‘Festive Berries’ with an ink blending tool (Ranger). I used a wet wipe to gently wipe the ink off the top of the embossed image and this is the result:

    1. Thank you! I think the white really stands out once the ink has been rubbed off, but I’m sure it can be done with other colour combinations too! 🙂 Thanks for visiting the blog!
