I won’t lie – it was my Step Aunt’s 60th about the same time it was my Niece’s 10th Birthday, but I was so ill I’ve only just finished the tag for her present! I was going to make her a card, but as it’s now past her birthday, I’ll just attach a tag to her gift & give it to my Step Dad, because I’m sure he will see her soon!
My Aunt is also an avid cardmaker so I got her lots of Lili of the Valley stamps to add to her crafty collection, I hope she likes them!!
The luggage tag is Kraft. I inked it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in ‘Tattered Rose’, ‘Spun Sugar’ and ‘Victorian Velvet’. I stamped the Kaiser Craft ‘Script’ in VersaMark ink and covered the tag in Cosmic Shimmer ‘Arctic Plum Aurora’ embossing powder.
The ribbon is some faux silk I got in an IndigoBlu Vintage Button and Ribbon Kit that I inked in Promarkers & tied in a double bow. The twine is from the Dovecraft ‘Tea Party’ bakers twine set. I used the Spellbinders Banners and Pennants dies to cut out bunting from some ‘Floral Fantasy’ 6×6 paper that was a free gift with Cardmaking and Papercraft. I pierced holes in the corners of the flags & threaded the baker’s twin through the holes.
I used my Memory Box Parker numbers and alphabet dies to create the 60th and attached them to the flags with Quicky Pen Glue. Then I attached the flags to the tag with sticky foam pads.
Last but not least to emphasise the pale blue in the designer paper I attached a blue paper rose with Glossy Accents & curled its stem around a pencil.
