It will be one of my Niece’s 6th Birthday on Thursday, so I’ll share with you the card I made for her.
I used a dark blue square base card and stamped the stars from Waltzingmouse Stamps ‘Midnight Feast‘ on it in silver ink.
Next I cut out a circle from white Centura Pearl cardstock and drew on some craters & valleys so it looked like the moon. I drew around it with my new Wink of Stella Brush GL.WHITE 000. Unfortunately you can probably see I got some of it where I didn’t want some white glitter!!! So I die cut some clouds using Memory Box and Joy! Crafts Clouds dies from white and grey cardstock & strategically positioned them over the mistakes!
I stamped the ‘Wind Beneath my Wings‘ stamp from Whimsy Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and fussy cut it out. I coloured it in using Promarkers and some more Wink Of Stella in white.
Next I worked out where I wanted all the clouds to go & the layering I wanted to create, then I glued the clouds on one by one. I die cut the Cheery Lynn ‘Happy’ (B226) and ‘Birthday’ (B231) dies from Centura Pearl cardstock and stuck them on with Quicky glue.
Last but not least I stamped the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment from the ‘Mr Fan-tash-tic‘ stamp set from IndigoBlu on the inside of the card in silver ink.
