A big squishy hug – WMFC 20

I’m just uploading this before rushing off for work!!!

I stamped the leaf border from the Waltzingmouse ‘Gift Card It‘ on an A6 white card base (tent fold orientation), then I used the co-ordinating die set to cut the gift card holding strip in the middle of the card & stamped the sentiment in Stampin’ UP! ‘Crisp Cantaloupe’ ink. I used my corner rounder punch to round the bottom corners of the card.

First I die cut  the gift card from Pistachio Pudding card stock, then because I was going to colour the leaves in Promarkers & it would never quite match, I die cut another from ‘Smokey Slate’ card stock. I stamped the ‘A big squishy hug’ sentiment in Memento ‘Tuxedo Black’ ink and I stamped the flowers on white card stock.

I used Promarkers to colour the border and flowers; ‘Mint Green’ for the border & leaves, ‘Orchid’, ‘Plum’, ‘Rose Pink’ and ‘Tropical Orchid’ for the flowers. I fussy cut the flowers & attached them to the gift card with Quicky Glue Pen.
