Paper Craft

2014 Christmas Thank you

Wow! Time has galloped past me! I’ve made several similar Thank you cards in different colour schemes so I can thank all the lovely people who gaive me presents for Christmas.

I cut a square of coloured pearlescent card to 9cm x 9 cm, then put a strip of double-sided tape down the centre of it. I adhered some ribbon with the tape, then rotated the square through 90 degrees and put another strip of ribbon across the middle again so the square was divided into 4 quarters by ribbon.

Using my brand new Embellishment Attic Bow Maker (thank you Mummy!!) I made bows for the ‘presents’ with the same ribbon I used for the presents, then adhered it to the top of the presents.

I die cut several small tags using the Waltzingmouse stitched tags dies, then stamped the sentiment from ‘Say It With Style’ in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I tried to find some bakers twin in my stash that matched the ribbons, but I wasn’t very successful, but I used some anyway to tie through the tags, then attached the loose ends of the bakers twine to the A6 white card base with Glossy Accents underneath where I wanted the present to be. The tag had some 1mm foam pads on it that I used to attach it to the card base.

Then I attached the present to the card base with 3mm foam pads.
