Birthday thank-you cards

This is going to sound really sad but my birthday passed without any form of celebration because I was so busy with work. It didn’t feel like my birhtday at all. But with birthdays come gifts and sending out thank you cards.

I wanted to do something very quick because work is taking up so much of my time at the moment so I went back to a design I had done before, but on a smaller card base.

The stamp set is Waltzingmouse ‘Folk Art Medallion’, the inks are the ‘in colors’ set of Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist and the coloured card is from the same set – Hello Honey. I stamped the main image straight onto the card base in an effort to keep things simple.

I cut a strip of the Hello Honey cardstock and used my scissors to create a fishtail and used my Spellbinders Circle die to create the circular end that fitted inside the main image.

I know this is a much shorter post than I usually do, but hopefully I’ll have more time in a few weeks to post something more in-depth!
