Happy Sunday everyone! I’m having a little break from all of my ocean/beach themed cards today as it’s my step sister’s birthday! She’s a classy bird, so I wanted to make a black and gold card for her, because I think black and gold is classy. I also needed it to be quick as I’m busy with my PhD at the moment.
I stamped the sentiment using the MFT ‘Well Connected’ uppercase letters on vellum with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with Stampin’ UP! Gold embossing powder.
I used my embossing buddy on some black cardstock and stamped the MFT ‘Snowfall background stamp’ in Versa Mark ink and embossed it in the same gold embossing powder. I trimmed the black embossed panel to fit the card base, I wrapped the vellum sentiment strip around the black panel so I could adhere it without any adhesive showing.
