Disclaimer: I made this card back in November for my oldest step sister, but this is the first chance I’ve had to blog about it. I was really pushed for time because I was spending almost all of my time writing my Thesis, so this was a really quick make.
I used my embossing buddy on some black card and used my Tim Holtz stamp platform to stamp the MFT ‘confetti background’ rubber stamp in VersaMark ink and then embossed with Stampin’ UP! gold embossing powder. I set it with my heat tool and then trimmed it down.
The black stamped panel was adhered on some gold mirror card and then mounted this on a black 6×6 card base, with no dimention so this would be a good card to put in the post.
I die cut the MFT ‘celebrate’ word die from the same gold mirror card stock and then used my Nuvo glue to adhere it to the card front.
Do you like black and gold or more colourful cards for birthdays?
