Today my youngest niece turns 10 – where does the time go???? Being a big fan of Zoella (my niece that is) I wanted to create a card for her that was inspired by her favourite vlog star.
I started with a C6 card base in cream and cut some Stampin’ UP! card in Whisper White, Smokey Slate and Pretty in Pink. I fiddled with the arrangement to get them to form some abstract shapes and then trimmed them down so all three panels were only one layer. I then arranged them in my stamp platform (all I can say is I’m so glad that when I first got my platform I went a bit overboard with magnets because I needed them all to keep the pieces together!!) I used the MFT ‘Well connected’ alphabet stamps to arrange the sentiment and I used my T-square ruler to line them up on the lid of my platform. I covered the card in loads of embossing buddy powder and stamped in VersaMark ink. I embossed the sentiment with Lawn Fawn rose gold embossing powder.
I then embossed the sentiment from the MFT ‘All About You’ set on the inside of the card with VersaMark ink and again embossed it with rose gold embossing powder for continuity.
I used tape runner to adhere the card pieces to the front of the card.
