I made this card for my friend Petra. She recently started a new job and we got her a card with the sentiment ‘Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons’ I thought I should use this stamp set for her birthday card to continue the flamingo theme.
I stamped the flamingo with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some Neenah classic crest solar white card and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens. I die cut the largest of the stitched rectangles from the MFT Dienamics.
I started with pink Centura Pearl card and cut it to be a standard card base. I adhered the stitched panel to the card base so there was a thin pink border showing around the edge. I added the flamingo with foam tape. I love it – the flamingo is such a bold pop of pink.
Inside the card I stamped the other flamingo and I stamped the sentiment on some Neenah classic crest and die cut it with the Lawn Fawn ‘A Birdy Told Me’ speech bubble die and adhered it to the card base.
