Eurgh!!!! As per usual, I am WAAAAAAAY behind with making my thank you cards for Christmas presents… Honestly, I don’t know where the time goes!?
I wanted to try to make these cards ‘quick and simple’ so I could get them done and posted before New Year (groan…) so I went for a monochromatic colour scheme.
I started by cutting down some black card stock to a US A2 card base (8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4). Then I used my MFT Four Way Chevron Cover-Up die to cut some Stampin’UP! Whisper White card. I glued the white chevron cover-up over the black card base.
The die cut thanks sentiment is from Heffy Doodle – I cut 3 thanks from 300gsm black card stock, adhered them together using Nuvo glue, then added as much clear Wink of Stella as possible, then I added Glossy Accents (Ranger) over the top and it ends up looking like an enamel accent! I had difficulty capturing how sparkly it is in photos, but it looks great in real life!
Do you make thank you cards all the time (ie. before you need them) or on receiving something?
Have a lovely crafty week!
