My best friend from school has just bought her first flat (which is tough at this time so I’m really thrilled for her!).
I wanted to make her a card ASAP so it would arrive when her flat was still ‘new’ so I’ve gone for a very clean and simple card!
I used an A6 white card and my Tim Holtz ‘Bricked’ Texture Fades Embossing folder for the base.
Next I found a nice dark green piece of card from my stash and attached my Memory Box Grand Madison Door die with low tack tape and ran it through my Big Shot.
I stamped the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps ‘A Cottage Home‘ set in silver ink on the door, then attached it to the front of the card with double sided tape. I had to use my bone folder tool to emphasise the crease at the hinge, because it was warping the card at first.
Last, but not least I used some Glossy Accents (Ranger) to attach a small dark green button from my stash (that matches quite well, I’m sure you’ll agree!).
