Just a quick post to show you some of the tags that I’ve made to go on presents this year. WARNING!! This post is very picture heavy!!!
First up is the most common tag I’ve made – I used Kraft card and die cut the largest Waltzingmouse ‘stitched tags’, then stamped the ‘Festive Foliage’ holly and berries and then the sentiment from ‘Say it With Style’.
The ‘to’ and ‘from’ are from the ‘Victorian Frippery’ stamp set and the names are made up from the ‘Victorian Alphabet’, unfortunately both now retired.
Here is another, very similar tag to the one above.
I also made a tag from the Stampin’ UP! set ‘Christmas Deer’, stamped in silver pigment ink, then heat embossed with Holographic embossing powder.
This is my secret Santa tag that I made by die cutting the WMS die from gold mirror card and punching a snowflake and attaching it with glossy accents.
Next, my yougest niece is OBSESSED with Frozen, so I had to make this tag for her present:
Am I the only person who finds men hard to buy for? In the end I always go for the ‘easy’ option of a nice bottle of wine or some Traditional Ale. I made these bottle tags by cutting two strips of kraft card, then die cutting a circle at one end. Once the circle was in place I scored the card twice to create a fold at the neck of the bottle and another going the opposite way. I stamped the card with holly, berries and sentiments, then I used the smallest of the circles in my die set, only put half of the die between the cutting plates and ran it through my Big Shot and ended up with a semi-circle that I could tuck the bottom flap of the tag into.
I feel less stressed now I’ve bought and wrapped a few presents!
Beautiful tags, thank you for sharing. I have a template for tags with my spellbinder and due to inspiration from your blog I’m going to have to get it out and have a little bit of crafting fun. Thank you for sharing.
